Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog you will be able to get a look at one of the new hockey clothing brands; Flow Hockey Apparel. Flow Hockey Apparel was founded in 2013 by Calvin Landby in Kennewick, Washington, USA. Landby was active with the Basement Hockey League in Spokane, Washington for quite some time and now has gone off to branch his own clothing company. Already, it is gaining attention in the AHL and the WHL and more recently FHA has gone into a partnership with the WSHL announcing the Flow of the Month. Flow Hockey Apparel will be able to open it's merchandise to hundreds of fans and players when the company will head down to Las Vegas this winter for the WSHL Showcase. Looking at the company, it resembles the very early stages of Gongshow. For those of you who don't know, Gongshow hockey is one of the most prominent hockey clothing lines with many clients in the NHL as well as many other professional leagues. From the Flow Hockey clothing I have seen so far, the designs on the apparel are wicked and definitely fit the laid back yet eccentric hockey lifestyle. I recently had a brief interview with Calvin Landby and here is what he had to say!:

Biscuits: How did the deal with the WSHL work out?

Landby:  Being a smaller unknown clothing line, I knew the company had [to] make a big move to get noticed and spread the word about the line. Teaming up with a junior league seemed like the best idea. After lots of research on different leagues across the country, the WSHL seemed like the best fit. It's a well established league that [has] seen a huge growth in teams over the past few years. Director of Communications Brent Maranto and Commissioner Ron White were easy to work with and the deal was signed with ease

Biscuits: What does your partnership with the WSHL entail?

Landby: Our partnership with the WSHL gives us rights to the Player of the Game for all games at the WSHL Showcase in December, allows us to sell apparel at the showcase, and gives us sponsorship rights to the WSHL Flow of the Month contest

Biscuits: What does the future look like for Flow Hockey Apparel?

Landby: The future looks bright for Flow Hockey. I believe we're heading in the right direction. I would like to continue to see the line spreading across the country. I would also like to see Flow Hockey clothing in some retail stores in the near future

Flow Hockey was featured on Good Morning Northwest (GMNW) earlier this year and you can watch the interview here: Flow Hockey TV

I want to wish FHA the best of luck and who knows maybe we will be seeing Flow Hockey Apparel in hockey shops across North America in the very near future! Good luck guys!!

Jamie Zaleski Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! Today you will be able to meet and get to know FHL Danville Dashers center Jamie Zaleski a little bit better. You don't come across a player very often that is so passionate about the sport that he takes immense pride in every game he plays or every time he represents his team, but today I believe I was able to talk to one of those chosen few. Jamie is an amazing player who beams passion and talent every time he walks onto the ice for a game and when you see him play, I guarantee that by the end of the game you will be as stunned as I was when I first watched a Dashers game. Zaleski is the perfect player seeing that he has the ideal combinations of aggressive and physical plays, speed, and can score whenever it needs be. I have seen some pretty aggressive players in my time but Jamie Zaleski is the definition of aggression out on the ice. His hits are almost alway...
#3 Biscuits and Breezers Welcome back to Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog, we will be discussing the Washington vs. New York series and the St. Louis vs. Los Angeles series. Starting off with the Washington vs. New York series. With the series now tied at 2-2, Washington Capital’s Captain Alexander Ovechkin and the rest of the Capitals seemed very pleased with the Game 4 win of 3-2. The Rangers are becoming more and more frustrated with the way the series took a turn after Game 3 when the game went into triple overtime, Rangers winning with a goal from Marian Gaborik at 14:41 in the tiring overtime. He made a goal past Capital’s goalie Braden Holtby with a wrist shot of 13 feet. The goal was assisted by Brad Richards and Daniel Giardi.   In Game 4 the Capitals had goals from Captain Alexander Ovechkin; center Nicklas Backstrom, and defenseman Mike Green. Green had previously been out 50 games with a right ankle injury and then an abdominal injury that required surgery. The ...
Aurora University Biscuits and Breezers   Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! This article is a continuation of the College Spotlight reviews and this time I will be featuring Aurora University freshman forward Robby (Robert) Gervino! Biscuits and Breezers' College Spotlight Player: Robert Gervino Height: 5 ft 11 in Weight: 180 lbs Hometown: Homer Glen, Illinois, USA When Robert Gervino gets to the rink for game day, it's game face on and head held high, because Gervino knows he will be putting in the best ice minutes he possibly can. When looking at Gervino on the ice or off, that is one of the qualities that becomes most prominent; confidence. He is the type of player who is not afraid to break out of the box and forge his own path. If he wants to play tremendously physical one night and he decides to take on the sniper's role the next, then that is what will happen. Robert defines his own terms and his ow...
