Starting off with the Stanley Cup Finals. Way to go Anze Kopitar!! Scoring the overtime winning goal against Devils' goaltender, Martin Brodeur, Kopitar has become one of the most loved players for Kings fans. At 8:13, the Slovene center brought a whole new meaning to dangle, snipe, and celly.This possible series directing goal was assisted by Canadian right wing Justin Williams and Canadian defenseman Drew Doughty. For awhile American goaltender for the LA Kings, Jonathan Quick, was really living up to his name. Blocking shots left and right, constantly watching the puck, Quick certainly was ready for this game having a save percentage of  .944 and making 17 saves. #15 Biscuits and Breezers                Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog we will be talking about the Rangers vs. Devils series finale and the Minnesota Wild signing top scorer Mikael Granlund. Starting with the Rangers vs. Devils finale! What a game! With the Devils winning 3-2 in overtime, the Devils will be facing off against the Western Conference Champions, the LA Kings on May 30th for Game 1 of the best of 7. Personally, I want the Kings to take it all. But that's just my opinion. Taking it in overtime with Canadian center Adam Henrique's 1:03 goal assisted by Russian left winger Ilya Kovalchuk and Ukrainian Canadian left wing Alexei Ponikarovsky. In this blog, we will be taking about the Kings vs. Coyotes series finale and the Rangers vs. Devils series. Starting off with the Kings vs. Coyotes series. What a major turn of events! With the the LA Kings becoming the Western Conference champions and moving onto the Stanley Cup finals, this will be the first time since 1993! The drought is over! Going into overtime, Canadian left wing Dustin Penner saved the Kings from a treacherous Game 6 at 17:42 and went top shelf on Mike Smith to be the game clincher, stealing the game 4-3! Two apples were given to Canadian center Jeff Carter and Russian defenseman Slava Voynov. In this episode of Biscuits and Breezers we will be talking about the Kings vs. Coyotes series and the Ducks signing Swedish goalie Viktor Fasth. Starting off with the Kings vs. Coyotes series. This series has defintely taken an unexpected and dramatic turn! Shutting out the Kings for the first time and stopping the Kings' post season roll.  Mike Smith defintely took his nerves and used them against the Kings to make him stronger and more on focus making 36 saves and having a save percentage, of course, of 1.000. Winning this game doesn't put the Coyotes in an automatic safe zone. They are still hanging on for dear life. The Kings defintely got quite a shock though. In this blog we will be talking about the Rangers vs. Devils series and how the Missoula Maulers have signed a J20 Superelit player. Starting off with the Rnagers vs. Devils series. What a turn out for the Rangers! With New Jersey tying things up last week and starting to regain some much needed momentum, New York has CRUSHED what little momentum they built up. Claiming Game 3, leading the series 2-1, and shuting out the Devils 3-0, the Rangers are on the fast track to meeting the Western Conference finalist sometime in May or June. Teams are starting to show the affects of the Stanley Cup.  The Devils losing on home turf will be quite a blow to their confidence. #11 Biscuits and Breezers      Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog, we will be taking about the Devils vs. Rangers series and a little Pens news. Starting off with the Devils vs. Rangers series. Now the series is tied at 1-1 and the Rangers are starting to feel anxious. Closing in on the Rangers, the Devils took Game 2 3-2 and left the Rangers eating puck dust and getting a face wash. The game started out where it ended with the Devils scoring and Russian winger Ilya Kovalchuk shoot a power play goal past Henrik Lundqvist at 13:39 assisted by Czech defenseman Marek Zidlicky and American captain and left wing Zach Parise. This was the only goal made in the first period. In the next next period, the Rangers gained control of the game by scoring two genos. Biscuits and Breezers #10              Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog we will be talking about the Rangers vs. Devils series and Game 2 of the Kings vs. Coyotes series . Starting off with the Rangers vs. Devils series. The Rangers knocked some sense into the rusty Devils by shutting out the Devils and flying past them 3-0. The last time the Devils played was on May 8th so they are a little rusty. Henrik Lundqvist shut out the Devils with a save percentage of 1.00 and 21 saves. Good job Henrik! The first goal of the game was scored in the 3RD period! That's crazy! In this episode of we will be discussing the Capitals vs. Rangers series finale with the Capitals being eliminated and the start of the Kings vs. Coyotes series. Starting off with the Capitals vs. Rangers finale. What a stressful game that was! Rangers taking it all with a final score of 2-1, and leaving the Capitals in the dust, they faceoff against the Devils on May 14th for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. In the first period, the Rangers scored a goal from Canadian center and alternate captain Brad Richards at 1:32 assisted by Swedish left winger Carl Hagelin and Canadian defenseman Michael Del Zotto. In this episode, we will be talking about the Washington vs. New York series and the IIHF World Hockey Leagues. Starting with the Washington vs. New York series. This series has DEFINTELY taken a turn for the unexpected. With the Capitals winning Game 6 2-1, the series ending Game 7 will take place at Madison Square Gardens this week. The Caps are definitely trying to win this thing. Braden Holtby definitely played his best with a save percentage of .968 and made 30 saves! Great job Braden! In this episode of Biscuits and Breezers, we will be discussing the Coyotes vs. Predators series finale and the Devils eliminating the Flyers. Starting off with the Coyotes vs. Predators Series Finale. Let’s just say that the Phoenix Coyotes are going to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in franchise history.   Then before going onto beat the Predators 2-1 on home ice, the team was informed of a deal that would give the Coyotes a new owner, one that could end the uncertainty of the team. Mike Smith was a major factor of why the Coyotes were able to fend off the Predators making 32 saves and had a save percentage 0f .970. Even being a hardcore Penguins fan, giving a gift to the Coyotes like this and then having them go to the Finals creates a happy feeling inside. Today we will be taking about Los Angeles’s win 4-0 in the Semi –Finals and the outcome of the Hossa/Torres predicament.   Taking a look back, no one thought the Kings would even make it close to the Finals or even the Semi-Finals.   Well, they beat the odds and are the first team to land a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Kings are the team that if they put their minds and strength and wrap it all into one, can be an unstoppable team. As we all saw in Game 4 in LA. #3 Biscuits and Breezers Welcome back to Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog, we will be discussing the Washington vs. New York series and the St. Louis vs. Los Angeles series. Starting off with the Washington vs. New York series. With the series now tied at 2-2, Washington Capital’s Captain Alexander Ovechkin and the rest of the Capitals seemed very pleased with the Game 4 win of 3-2. The Rangers are becoming more and more frustrated with the way the series took a turn after Game 3 when the game went into triple overtime, Rangers winning with a goal from Marian Gaborik at 14:41 in the tiring overtime. He made a goal past Capital’s goalie Braden Holtby with a wrist shot of 13 feet.
