Butte Cobras Interview

Biscuits and Breezers

Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog you will get to meet the first ever goaltender and European player signed in Cobras history, Tor Tornqvist! Tor, knowing Montana hockey fans, will be an immediate fan favorite in Butte because of the style of play and personality he brings to the ice and the class he brings off the ice. He is a young goaltender but he is insanely skilled and will aid Butte in their first season in the WSHL. This will be Tornqvist's first year of juniors in the USA as well and he is ready to go in full force. He is an extremely strong and confident goaltender and will stop at nothing to help his team out. He is perfect for the WSHL's pace because he adapts quickly to any game he is thrown into. I have worked with Tor for about 2 seasons now and I am very thrilled that I was included throughout the entire scouting and signing process that will bring him to Montana in August. Tor will definitely grow as a player during his stay in Butte but at the same time he will build the Cobras up as much as he can. He gives 100% to every game he plays in and he represents the logo on the front of his jersey as proudly as he can on the ice but also throughout the community. He has an incredibly high hockey IQ and when he is in between the pipes, he there playing the best of his abilities until the very last second. One last thing that you should know about Tornqvist is that he is the type of goaltender that isn't afraid to stand up for himself. At 6 ft 2 in, he is a goaltender that you don't want to mess with. I had an interview with Tor and I would like to introduce you all to him. Here it is! (I apologize if the translation is a bit off at times)

Jamie Zaleski Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! Today you will be able to meet and get to know FHL Danville Dashers center Jamie Zaleski a little bit better. You don't come across a player very often that is so passionate about the sport that he takes immense pride in every game he plays or every time he represents his team, but today I believe I was able to talk to one of those chosen few. Jamie is an amazing player who beams passion and talent every time he walks onto the ice for a game and when you see him play, I guarantee that by the end of the game you will be as stunned as I was when I first watched a Dashers game. Zaleski is the perfect player seeing that he has the ideal combinations of aggressive and physical plays, speed, and can score whenever it needs be. I have seen some pretty aggressive players in my time but Jamie Zaleski is the definition of aggression out on the ice. His hits are almost alway...
#3 Biscuits and Breezers Welcome back to Biscuits and Breezers! In this blog, we will be discussing the Washington vs. New York series and the St. Louis vs. Los Angeles series. Starting off with the Washington vs. New York series. With the series now tied at 2-2, Washington Capital’s Captain Alexander Ovechkin and the rest of the Capitals seemed very pleased with the Game 4 win of 3-2. The Rangers are becoming more and more frustrated with the way the series took a turn after Game 3 when the game went into triple overtime, Rangers winning with a goal from Marian Gaborik at 14:41 in the tiring overtime. He made a goal past Capital’s goalie Braden Holtby with a wrist shot of 13 feet. The goal was assisted by Brad Richards and Daniel Giardi.   In Game 4 the Capitals had goals from Captain Alexander Ovechkin; center Nicklas Backstrom, and defenseman Mike Green. Green had previously been out 50 games with a right ankle injury and then an abdominal injury that required surgery. The ...
