College of Charleston Hockey Program     Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! In this special article you will get an inside look at one of the best Southern hockey schools I have had the pleasure of working with. The College of Charleston Cougars are an extremely passionate and skilled group of guys that love forging the path for ice hockey in the southern states. In the South it is tough to expand the game for obvious reasons but for the Cougars, they are charging at the head of the pack and making a name for hockey in Charleston, South Carolina. This is one of the best programs I have worked with because the boys on this team love their hockey, love their fans, and they want to see the sport blossom. Fight of the Year Biscuits and Breezers        Before I move on to anymore news, I wanted to feature a fight that I think should be up for a fight of the year in the WSHL. This scrap was between a beast from Missoula and a goon from Seattle. That's right Austin Azzinnaro and Piers LaFrance battled it out in Missoula's last home game and it was amazing. You should have seen these two go at it! It was a complete yard sale of mitts, twigs, and buckets, and by the time Auzzie was done with the Totem, LaFrance was thrown out of the rink looking like he had just met Ross "The Boss" Rhea from Goon. Azzinnaro was ejected in pure beauty style; waving to the roaring fans, excited as can be, and pumped for another round. It was an absolutely incredible fight and I have never seen a junior fight go down as sweet as that one did. Not to mention this was Austin's first tilly! #99 Biscuits and Breezers     Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! Before the playoffs start around many leagues and things start getting hyped up here is the 99th regular blog! I can't believe we have made it to 99 already, thank you very much everyone you are the absolute best! 25,000 views will be coming up quickly as well! The news for today is a Canadiens prospect has been placed in a medically induced coma, Matt Stajan has been granted a leave of absence from the Flames, and an incredible 7 overtime championship state title. Starting off with Calgary. Flames' center Matt Stajan has been granted a leave of absence from Calgary after his newborn son, Emerson Stajan, passed away on March 3rd after childbirth. He and his wife Katie will have a private memorial service to mourn the loss of their son in a few days. My sincerest condolences to both Matt and Katie, and to their whole family during this rough and deeply saddening time. ...

Junior Updates Biscuits and Breezers    Since the Juniors part 1 was such a huge success and I had previously promised a part 2, here it is! The teams I have picked for this blog are the Southern Oregon Spartans, Gillette Wild, Kenai River Brown Bears, Wenatchee Wild, and the Missoula Maulers. Juniors Update Biscuits and Breezers     As the regular season is coming to an end, I thought it might be a good time to reflect on some of your favorite junior teams. I, personally, have had a great year with all the junior teams and getting to know a lot of the guys was absolutely phenomenal. There are many new teams that I have made connections with and I am very happy that I did. The playoffs are just around the corner, some teams have made it and some haven't, and it is time to discuss a couple of teams who I feel have stood out for various different reasons! Hope you enjoy! #98 Biscuits and Breezers     Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! I apologize that I have been terribly busy lately and I haven't had time to write! So to catch up on the news, we will be talking about a few injuries, the Outdoor Classics, and a trade! To start off the injured list, Paul Martin of the Pittsburgh Penguins has had surgery on his right hand to repair a break he sustained in the quarterfinals of the Sochi games. He is expected to be out 4-6 weeks. Pekka Rinne has stepped up from his rehabilitation and has been sent to play with the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL after missing the last 4 months due to a hip infection. He has also been cleared to increase his physical activity and could start against Pittsburgh next week. After tearing his MCL and meniscus in Russia, John Tavares has been told by team doctors that he will not require surgery to repair those tears. His rehab will roughly last 8-12 weeks, but should be set for...
