25,000 View Blog Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to a special edition of Biscuits and Breezers! Earlier this month we passed the 25000 view mark and now it is time to celebrate!! Before I get to the fan appreciation and player review portion of our blog, I just would like to say a few things. First of all, I can't express enough my thanks to you all. I have received nothing but support since day 1 and it has been an incredible journey over 1 year and 10 almost 11 months. On the Biscuits and Breezers Facebook page, the family has grown to almost 900 now! To be honest when I first started this in May of 2012 I never could have imagined being at 25,000 so quickly (closer to 26,000 at the moment I am writing this.) The Biscuits and Breezers hockey family is the absolute best in the entire world and the people and players that make it up are even better! We have fans on every populated continent and in almost every country from the tip of Alaska and the western
Playoff Champions: MnJHL, AWHL, WSHL Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! This is a continuation of the last blog I put out to keep you guys on track through the junior hockey playoffs before the NHL goes into their playoff run and I become wicked busy! Today, I have for you the champions of the MnJHL, the AWHL, and the divisional champions and runners up for the WSHL. Before I go into this, I just want to congratulate all of the teams that were able to make it to the playoffs and to all of the beauties that will be headed to Nationals this April in Simsbury, Connecticut. Every team deserves a pat on the back for all of the hard work and effort they put in trying to finish first in the race to victory! Here are your champions!     Where we last left off, it was the Final Four with the Marquette Royals vs. the Hudson Crusaders and the Dells Ducks vs. the Illiana Blackbirds. Between the Ducks/Blackbirds series, th
#101 Biscuits and Breezers      Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! Instead of the regular 3 large stories, I have a couple maybe 4 or 5 short stories that have happened that I need to catch up with because I have been unbelievably busy trying to keep up with the MnJHL/WSHL/AWHL/NCAA playoffs (which I will report on for you guys later on.) But as I said before I have about 4 or 5 short news bits and about 5 videos that have come out recently that I absolutely have to share with you guys! Also the 25,000 view Celebratory Blog with be out soon as well! Anyway moving on with this article's news, we will be talking about Patrick Kane's injury, TJ Oshie's new baby, the San Jose Sharks' newest player, and James Neal's fine. First up Patty Kane! In the game against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday, star forward Patrick Kane was injured  by Brenden Morrow and teammate Sheldon Brookbank. After sustaining a lower body injury, Kane will be o
Spokane Jr. Chiefs U18 Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! It was requested that I write a review over the Spokane Jr Chiefs U18 and I am very excited to do so, hope you all enjoy! This team is one you should watch out for because it is one of the best youth teams and because they are all very talented, their entire roster is packed full of skilled players, and they are absolutely full of potential. I have watched a couple of clips on the team and let me say this, when these guys move on to juniors there are going to be some major beauties and wicked snipers out in the big leagues. This is a very high end team and it certainly shows in the statistics. In the regular season, they had 50 wins, 11 losses, 6 ties, 316 goals for, and 124 goals against. That is incredibly amazing. The team has won 4 tournaments this year alone, they won the Washington tier 2 state championship 5-0, and they are going to the USA Hockey Nationals
Playoffs Update: MnJHL, AWHL, WSHL Biscuits and Breezers    Welcome back to another blog of Biscuits and Breezers! I have had many requests to write a playoff update article for 3 leagues to clarify which teams are moving on, which teams have been eliminated, and to clear up any jumble that has been going having to juggle three leagues all at once! I hope this helps some of you out and you enjoy reading it at the same time! The playoffs are moving along quickly so hopefully I will be caught up before new series start! Enjoy!    Going into round 1 of the MnJHL playoffs these were the pairs battling it out for the one and only final advancing spot: In the Minnesota Division it was the Dells Ducks vs. Rochester Ice Hawks and Maple Grove Energy vs. Hudson Crusaders. In the Great Lakes Division it was the Marquette Royales vs. Wooster Oilers and Illiana Blackbirds vs. Tri-City IceHawks. All series were Best of 3 games. In the Ducks/Ice Hawks match up, the Ducks swept

But now enough of the celebration we can do that when I put my 25k view blog out! Since I have missed quite a bit of news over the past few days, I have 5 stories for you all! The news I am reporting on would be New York Ranger Carl Hagelin's first career hat trick, Rich Peverley collapsing on the bench in Dallas, the death of OHL player Terry Trafford, Nicklas Backstrom receiving his silver medal, and Pittsburgh's Jame Neal out indefinitely. First off with Hagelin! Carl Hagelin, forward for the New York Rangers, has recorded his first ever hat trick in the game that lifted the Rangers over the Winnipeg
